So this morning was a whirlwind. Around 8 am, I found out a lifelong friend passed away and I’m devastated. Then I got a call from my OB. I recently did bloodwork on Friday (2/22) to see why I haven’t started my period after stopping birth control in Nov’18, they were going to put me on progesterone(?) to jumpstart my period since we wanted to conceive. She called me to tell me everything looks good and she won’t prescribe me anything because I’m pregnant! My HCG was at 141. I was shocked and explained to her that I needed that good news after what I had just found out. Called back to be like “are you sure you didn’t mess up the charts!?” And the receptionist was like, “you are definitely pregnant!” So there’s that! Immediately called the boyfriend and my mom.
