Within the past week my son has mastered getting up onto his knees and reaching for the couch, coffee table, toys and anything else he can grab. He does well on his knees for the most part but at least once a day he falls backward on his head. We have carpeting but it still makes a loud thud. When it happens he seems stunned for a second before the crying starts and once I pick him up he stops crying and seems unfazed. So far when it’s happened he’s fallen back and nothings in his way but I could just imagine him falling back right onto a toy which would be a lot worse. Just wondering if anyone else’s little one does this. The only solution I could think would be literally following him around all day and taking him off his knees or catching him each time he does it but that’s not really practical. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
