FTM not sure what to buy the baby to sleep in?

I’m so confused and there’s so many options. What do you ladies recommend for a newborn? I was thinking of getting a bassinet to keep right by my bed or maybe a pack n play with a napper. Idk

I preferred the lounger bassinet for the first few weeks with my last baby, and will definitely be using another one for my next baby. They rock and some vibrate softy or play music. And with how portable they are, they're really handy

For the first three months, our daughter slept in her Halo Bassinet next to our bed.👌🏾 After three months, she slept in one of her pack-n-plays until she was six months. At six months, she began sleeping in her nursery. We kept the Dockatot, SnuggleMe Organic, and another Pack-n-play downstairs so she can nap in during the day.👍🏾

Pack n play 100%. Our daughter slept in a pack n play in our room for the first 6 months and then moved to her crib in her bedroom from there. Bassinets are incredibly temporary. Once they're sitting up, they can't be used anymore and for our daughter, that was 4 months. A pack n play, on the other hand, can be used well into the toddler years. Our almost 2-year-old still uses hers when we travel or visit family for the day.

We put our LOs crib in our room, and she has slept in it since we went back upstairs after my c-section.

I have a bassinet that I can roll around the house. I have two big dogs so I can’t leave her on the floor. it has been nice to have something to lay her in when I need to set her down. I will take her with me from room to room if she is awake while I am cleaning or doing laundry. Also lets her nap anywhere in the house.

We used a Moses Basket for the first three months then transitioned our baby into a crib from there. For the beginning it was really nice having him in our room next to our bed.

A pack and play with a bassinet insert. Itll last longer and be more useful than just a bassinet.
