Does low progesterone only happen some pregnancies or is it all the time?

Sarah

Like what above says, I’ve had two previous miscarriages because of low progesterone, both happening by seven weeks. I then got pregnant with my son who is now 4 months old and I had to take progesterone suppositories for the entire first trimester.

I don’t want to have to take progesterone each time I get pregnant and I’m so worried I’ll have another miscarriage because of that issue I have. So I’m asking, does this problem usually only happen for some pregnancies or if you have previous problems with progesterone is it the sort of thing that doesn’t go away? ANY insight or advice on progesterone problems will be appreciated. I don’t know a whole bunch about it but if it’s the sort of thing that doesn’t go away it looks like I have this problem and would like to know tipsand pointers on how to deal with it for future pregnancy or ttc!

(I posted this in a infertility group a few days ago but got no responses so I hope it’s okay I post it here too)
