TMI - Razor bump

I have what looks like razor bump on my pubic area, but I’ve had it for a while now (probably 6 months at least). I thought razor bump went over time, how do I get rid of it? I’m planning on having sex in a month with someone when they come visit but I feel embarrassed by this
