Pumped milk for daycare?

My baby will be 2 months old when I go back to work and he starts daycare. How much milk would a 2 month-old typically eat during an 8-9h workday? I’m trying to determine how much milk I should stock up on before my leave is over

2-3 ounces every 3 hours. 
My daughter is 8 weeks and takes 2.5ounces when she gets a bottle of breastmilk. And always pacefeed like the other mama said 👍🏻 It protects your breastfeeding relationship.

Keep in mind, you shouldn’t need a big stockpile, although I understand the peace of mind... you should be pumping as much as your baby is eating, so basically you will pump the day before and send all that you pumped to daycare for the next day... another benefit to this is refrigerated milk retains more nutrients than frozen milk and it stays good in the fridge longer than frozen/thawed milk.

Babies should have 1-1.5 oz of breastmilk per hour regardless of age since milk changes to their nutritional needs ☺️

My 8 week old is eating 5-6 ounces every 4 hours but I exclusively pump and occasionally supplement with formula. It's probably a good idea to do some bottle feeding now so you can get an idea of how much LO is taking per feeding. And depending on your work/supply, etc you may not need that much of a stash since you can just use what you pumped the day before.
