Background story: I broke up with my ex a little over a year ago after being in a long distance relationship. There was uncertainty in meeting each other again anytime soon at the moment so he decided to break up with me. Honestly, I wasn’t hurt or upset at all because by then I was so ready to break up (story for another time).

Then we would talk once in a few months just to catch up. About half a year later he asked if I wanted to spend a weekend with him when I returned to the city and I refused, as I have completely moved on. He was upset and said I made it difficult for him to move on. For this reason I decided to have as little communication with him as possible.

-Now-

He would still message me saying “I miss you” and calling me with a cuter version of my name like he used to do. I ignored all that. Then suddenly a couple days ago he messaged me on my phone number (we usually talked on skype which I’m now rarely on). I have a mixed feelings because I really don’t want to ever talk to him anymore. My two guy friends said I should just block him, another guy friend said it doesn’t matter what I choose to do, and my boyfriend said just ignore (not block).

I feel that I need advices from girls this time. Am I overreacting? What do you think is the wisest thing to do to face this situation? I know everyone here is so supportive! Thank you 🥰
