Ive never understood why women choose to use ovulation tests as substitute pregnancy tests🙄 
Firstly, they test for different hormones so its inaccurate,
Secondly your LH levels fluctuate throughout your cycle & can increase before AF arrives, so again it makes it an inaccurate & unreliable result.

It's the increase in Hcg that you're wanting, so an ovulation test isn't going to give you an accurate answer.
