I believe that is what I’m having done March 8th. They already did testing and I have “mid range” active pre cancerous cells on my cervix (not sure what the first part matters, I only care about the last part and what it means).

Now I believe they are going to do a LEEP. I was told they would remove all of the first layer of skin and then cauterize my cervix to help prevent bleeding.

How bad does this hurt? It sounds really painful! Will I be able to go back to work afterwards? Only asking about work since I’ll work a few hours and then leave for my appointment. I told them (work) I didn’t think I’d be back for the day. How bad did it hurt for you? How did you feel the rest of the day? Thanks ladies!
