I was joking with my mother in law this morning. I said “y’all will be lucky if you get to hold the baby when I have it,”

(Joking...I had a miscarriage and I’m saying how in love I’ll be I won’t wanna let go,)

She said, “It’s not just your baby sister, it has my blood too.”

Now I’m thinking...I was kidding...but what is this going to turn into, I live with them.

I’m not trying to have hover grandparents telling me how to parent, especially with my first baby.

Of course they’ll be able to hold the baby, but what is this going to turn into...?

Should I be worried? Should we move out...?
