When do you find out how much your baby is weighing??

I’m 31 weeks and haven’t had in ultrasound since 20 weeks 😕 Will I get another one? How/when do you find out how much your baby is weighing?

This is something you should ask your doctor as they are all different. If you aren’t high risk you may not have another ultrasound. I had a growth ultrasound at 29 weeks because baby was measuring in the 97th percentile at my anatomy ultrasound and I’ll have another growth ultrasound next week at 36 weeks. My doctor is only doing these because of how big my baby is though.

Depends on your doctor. Mine does growth scans between 35-37 weeks, I’m getting mine at 35 weeks.

My doctor said she does a growth scan at 36 weeks. It depends on the doctor and also your insurance.

Ask your midwife about one, a lot of people get them at 32-36w but in most pregnancies 20w is your last scan unless they want to check for any reason

My baby was around 5lbs at 31weeks . Most don't get another ultrasound at this point. Things have changed since I had my last baby 9 1/2 years ago so who knows

no you don't normally have another scan after 20 weeks unless you need a growth scan or further monitoring of baby .... in UK they don't normally like to guess how big baby is unless there a reason they need to know aka too big or too small but this is normally monitored when they measure belly and then send you for growth scan ... my first I was measuring fine all the way through and only had my dating scan and anatomy scan and he was 9lb then my second I was measuring big at one of my appts and they sent me for growth scan and he was only 7lb 4oz and this time so far I've only had my 2 scans as normal and measuring fine again so far

I had to get a growth ultrasound at 32 weeks only because my uterus was measuring 26 and I was 30

My midwife does one at 35 weeks to see if the baby is down. If you measure 2 weeks ahead they do one for sizing as well (at any point I believe).
