Is it bad that I don't want people at my wedding ? 😶

I was talking to my boyfriend last night and I told him if we were to ever get married I don't want a traditional wedding. I want to go elope in Hawaii or something lol. Like I don't want any friends or family I just want it to be me & him enjoying that special moment. 
Am I the only girl that feels this way ? Or better yet have any of you ladies ever eloped and how did your families feel about it ?

We wanted to elope but it ended up being the most amazing destination wedding! We had 60 people which was kinda crazy that many people wanted to travel to see us get married! Amazing week.

I eloped and love it 😍 it was stress free and it was all about us (we even stopped to get tacos between the ceremony and dinner)

The best part about eloping for us was the cost, we had our dream wedding with everything we wanted at a place that we normally would of never been able to afford (I work for the company so I know weddings here normally run 50,000$-400,000$) but since it was just the two of us it only came up to 5000$ and we went all out with a live violinist during the ceremony and professional photographer, makeup artist,and decorator. And then we had dinner at a Michelin star restaurant. (After grabbing a taco or two 😂)

Both times my husband & I got married we just went to the courthouse simple & easy with just my mom & kids with us

I say elope! Then maybe just have a small reception/party for friends and family when you get back home if you’re worried about your family’s feelings
