At my 6 week (more like 9 week) checkup I got the Liletta (same thing as Mirena IUD but different name) inserted and it was around the time of my period so when I started bleeding I just assumed that’s what it was. Well I stopped bleeding and now it’s back and it’s SUPER heavy. And my whole vaginal/butt area HURTS! Anyone have any experience with this? Should I call my doctor?

I’m nervous because my friend uses a different doctor and when she got hers they did a sonogram/ultrasound to make sure it was inserted correctly. My doctor did not do that.
