What a Wonderful Birthday!

Ok so, I’m thirteen as of September 2018. On my birthday, I was having a great day. I had to use the bathroom, so I asked and went, you know the drill. Whenever I went to the bathroom, I looked down, and guess what I saw? I saw red-brown spots. Great. I knew exactly what it was, put a little bit of toilet paper down there, and went back to class. Luckily, I sat at a table with my best friend (who had started) and we were doing group work. I walked over to her and whispered, “I’m pretty sure I started my period.” She looked at me and burst out laughing. I had to go to another room and my friend went with me and gave me a couple of pads. You have no idea, nope you probably do, how difficult it is to put a pad on for the first time! It’s ridiculous! Anyways, I told my mom at lunch (she always comes to eat with me on my birthday) and she went and got me pads as a birthday present. 😐 Luckily, it turned out to be spotting, and I’ve had a pretty regular cycle ever since.
