I am being tested for cholestasis tomorrow because I am itching on my palms and bottoms of my feet. I also have a bit of itching on the backs of my calf’s and arms. Only problem is I’ll be 37 weeks tomorrow. They suspected that I had it a couple months ago and told me that their policy is to induce at 37 weeks. The tests a few months ago were fine and the itching stopped for a while well now it’s back with a vengeance. I know the test takes about 5 days to give results but I’m scared to wait that long now. I’m worried that if I do have it, something is gonna happen to my baby or me. With me being in the “danger zone” already, I don’t know what to expect tomorrow. Anyone had this happen this late in pregnancy? What did your doctor decide to do?
