Back to bad sleep 😩 help!
So my son is 21 months old and was always a good sleeper until he hit 18 months and that sleep regression was tough. However, we got back on track and have been doing good...that is until about a week ago. He started waking up super early (between 5 and 6 am). Now that’s not too bad but last night he woke up at 1:30 am and would not go back to sleep unless I was holding him. He’s never been that way. He’s always slept on his own. But this was different than ever before. He was literally screaming my name. I thought maybe he had a bad dream but I’m not sure. I attempted a few times to get him back into his bed and each time he’d freak. I ended up having to keep him in our room with us and he literally slept laying on me. He’s also been doing really bad with nap time the last few weeks. It’s nearly impossible to get him down and when I do the second I try to walk out of the room and the floor creeks the tiniest bit he wakes right up. I know he’s tired so it’s not like he’s ready for no naps. He will clear as day rub his eyes and yawn. But just refuses to go down. If I hold him he’ll nap for 2-3 hours though. Anyone else going through this recently? Is there another regression around this time? I thought we were done with them.
