Trapped wind?

I'm having sharp pains in my upper stomach, sort of just below my sternum above my belly button. Is this trapped wind? It's a little worse when I bend. I woke up last night and when I went to the loo it passed a bit and then (tmi) I passed a lot of gas after and it went away. It's come back this evening and I'm wondering if it the same thing? I'm 11 weeks pregnant..

Lay on your left side and bend your right leg. Should help the gas get out

Sounds like it. As weird as it is, I massage my stomach and lay on my side. Tends to help a little for me. Maybe that'll help you out to!

I massage my stomach by rubbing small circles with shea butter. If it's really bad I'll move into a crouching position, it seems to help it pass easier.
