Has anyone had signs without actually having pre-eclampsia?

I went into the doctor last week, blood pressure was elevated. They allowed me to check at home (husband is a paramedic) as long as I called if it got over 140/90.

Sunday night it was 150/100. Went into the hospital and they monitored my BP. It would be normal then spike high, and continue that pattern.

They said all my tests came back great except there was a tiny bit of protein in my urine so they sent me home w a 24 hour urine collection.

Completed that Monday-Tuesday BUT our area has been covered in snow so my doctors office has been closed. They didn’t put in the labs so I can’t actually take my urine collection anywhere yet!

Long story long has anyone had anything similar without actually developing preeclampsia? BP is still doing the same thing, normal then spike.
