I bled often with an IUD and had pain everyday.

I voted iud. You have less side effects because the hormones stay in your uterus where all other hormonal birth control circulates your blood including the implant. I've had the IUD for 9.months and love it. My heavy periods have disappeared. Meds interact with the implant bit not an IUD.

I chose implant because every time I read up on the IUD it just made me nauseous thinking about it possibly getting sucked into my uterine wall.  Also just the thought of it being in my uterus alone made me panic.
Just like the thought of having a child in my uterus makes me want to die. :(
