Do you think it’s impolite to have another baby shower/gender reveal for the second/third/forth/ect. baby?

By bs and gr, I mean baby shower and gender reveal. I’m asking if you think it’s impolite or not for both or if only the baby shower/gender reveal is impolite. Sorry, if it doesn’t make sense.

I think it’s okay to do whatever you want. Sometimes people say baby showers for seconds aren’t appropriate, but if it’s with a new partner then it’s fine. But do whatever you want to!

I don't think either is rude/impolite. There are tons of reasons why it's acceptable but to name just a few scenarios:
1) everyone likes a gender reveal.
2) some people dont plan a second, third, fourth kid and get rid of all their baby stuff then... oops... now they new more stuff. 
3) there are some people who have 3 boys and have a fourth trying for that girl and vice versa so of course a baby shower is warranted. 
4) then there are the people who have a baby thinking it's there last and get ride of everything. 5 years later (or any # of years) or even a new relationship later decide to have another and need more stuff. 
5) then there are the unfortunate ones who have lost everything due to unforseen circumstances (i.e. fire, bankruptcy,  loss of job, other natural disasters or financial hardships) where they need more stuff even if their kids are super close in age or have an age gap.  
6) and finally people with multiple kids who have very used baby items that have lived past their life. A new car seat should be bought with each new kid even though lots of people reuse them. A stroller that has survived through 3 kids probably needs to be replaced. Baby clothes get stained easily if not washed properly so most will probably need to be replaced by the 2nd or 3rd kid. Ect, etc, etc. 
Reasons why it's not acceptable? I can only think of one and that's if you still have everything from your 1st kid AND it's still in pristine condition. I can see wanting to "upgrade" certain things but people in general tend to have different definitions of "need" vs "want". Jmo.

I think you can do whatever you want. We throw a sprinkle shower for each one of our friends group babies and we leave giving a gift and how much up to the person. Usually it’s small, diapers, wipes, book, outfit, small stuff. I love any excuse to celebrate something and always turns into a nice brunch

But honestly, people can do whatever they want. I would go to a baby shower for a 4th baby! :)

I don’t think it’s rude or impolite, but perhaps unnecessary to have multiple baby showers if you still have plenty of usable baby-things from previous children, especially if the age gap is small.
But it’s totally up to the parents 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think all babies deserve to be celebrated ☺️ if you don’t feel comfortable receiving gifts you could do like a little get together with family to celebrate a new life coming into the world ♥️

I think if someone wants to throw a party for you to celebrate your baby, or if your friends/family want to give you gifts, then who cares.

I had one for my so , then when I found out I was having a daughter I had another. When I get pregnant again I would like one to celebrate my boyfriend becoming a dad for the first time and the baby. Gifts aren’t necessary but since it will be the first grandchild and great grand child in his family I can see them getting gifts. I agree though it’s up to the parents, people who don’t like it don’t have to attend
