Late ovulation after positive OPK?

Question

Does it look like I ovulated at 5 DPO or CD 24?! I was frustrated because my positive OPK was later than normal.. I should have ovulated on Monday. I got a positive OPK Wednesday morning and by evening it was fading and negative already. I have heard it is possible to O days after a positive OPK. I did take another OPK a day or two before my temp drop 5 DPO and it was negative. Any thoughts are appreciated! :)

If your next two temps are higher than the previous 6 you can confirm ovulation. If so you probably ovulated on cd30

I don’t see a clear ovulation pattern yet. It’s possible it just happened, but you’ll need more temps to confirm.

Lh surges can last a long time which is why, to be sure, you shouldn’t stop testing until your strips start fading again.
