2 weeks ago we sewed the gown I plan on laboring and delivering in with a water birth. Im so proud of myself because it's the first thing ive ever sewn on my new sewing machine and ever! I followed a basic pattern and the hem lines arent perfect but im glad i made it. I wore it today to test it for comfort. The shoulders have button snaps just like a hospital gown which will be great for nursing afterwards and if I decide i dont want to wear it the whole time it will come off easily. But after the birth i can still wear it as a nursing dress
