Am I really a Dinosaur Trying to Conceive?

Rose

My boyfriend and I want to try for our rainbow baby. I have a 12 year old little girl. And, now more than ever, my bio clock is ticking. I feel like I am missing 1-2 more little ones in our lives. Is that weird? I miscarried in November of 2017. We didn't really try again after that. But we talked about it, and are ready to try again. He is 30. I am 41, will be 42 this year. Still get a regular period. I take Rainbow Light prenatals+ DHEA. I have decided to cut alcohol out of my diet. I do enjoy the occasional glass or 2 of a nice red blend on the weekend ( not every weekend tho). I was vitamin D deficient for about a year, too. I didn't realize it. But now my vitamin D is back up at a healthy level since I started taking a high does Rx. Now I take VitaminD-3 to help keep it up. Can anyone recommend anything else? I don't track ovulation, except for thru this Glow app. I don't do BBT, or track my LH. I do have test strips for LH testing. My last cycle, I was pretty much right on point with my ovulation chart. I had 2 very solid lines when I tested my LH. But I don't do it regularly. I was just curious if it would line up. My friend gave me a set of test strips. More than ever, right now, I want another baby. I want a sibling for my little girl, my boyfriend and I want kids, and I want to give his mom her first granddaughter. We plan on marrying. I just finished school a month ago and have a career. I am ready. Just worried I am a Dinosaur. I don't feel like I am old. Should I get a referral to a specialist, other than my GYN. I know my GYN is not on board with me wanting a baby at my age. I don't know what to do. My family is full of very fertile women. Should I try on my own (without direction from my GYN or a specialist), or should I talk to my GYN? Or should I see an OB/GYN? Please! Any help or advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! And what other vitamins or supplements are recommended? I keep hearing about CoQ10...? I don't know if that's correct. Thank you all, in advance! Best of luck and here's some baby dust to you!! 😁
