EBF Mama’s - how many times a day do you feed your baby?

I read online that by 4 months I should be feeding her 6-8 times a day? But I feed on demand and its closer to 10 times a day... am I overfeeding her?

I've been told you cant overfeed a breastfed baby, since the milk changes day to day, hour to hour to provide what they need. I'm not sure how true that is, but right now I'm at a point where my daughter is pretty much latched all night because of this regression, then still feeds about every 2 hours during the day.

You cannot overfeed a baby. If she is giving hunger cues, feed her. All babies differ.

We feed every ten minutes to four hours depending what she’s in the mood for. 🤷‍♀️ If I counted how many times I feed her in the day, I might shoot myself. It’s 7:36am and I’ve already fed her five times. 😂😭

Omg. I feed on demand almost every hour. If I ever make it two hours during the day, I feel like something is wrong. My ped can't believe she eats that much still but said it is fine.

Almost 5 months and baby still feeds every 2-3 hours, but closer to 2 hours.

He sleeps thru the night. So during he day, i feed on demand and make sure hes getting enough. Definitely in the 8-10 feeds between 7am-7pm :)

At least every 2hrs during daytime hours. Sometimes he eats 30mins after he just ate. Dont follow those guidelines. Just feed your baby. As long as baby is growing, gaining, thriving and generally happy I'd say you're doing what you're supposed to do.
