Cut back on caffeine, drinks with carbonation and acids and greasy foods. It works better than taking meds for it. I've dealt with this a lot. It's mostly diet changes that help.

A while ago I was getting terrible burning pains in my upper abdomen and the only things that really helped was taking Zantac and some chamomile and anise tea! I would also put a heating pad on my stomach, I found that the warmth of the tea and the heating pad relaxed my muscles a little bit.

If it happens on a regular basis, try zantac. You can get it over the counter and if it works for you, your doctor might be able to prescribe it for cheaper depending on your insurance and such. Realistically, you should see your doctor if it's an ongoing issue and they can help you find something that works best with your situation 😊

What everyone else said, plus ginger beer (non-alcoholic). A lot of ginger in it soothes the stomach and reflux unless you vomit it.
