Hi ladies! I completed my first laparoscopic surgery today and was officially diagnosed with endometriosis. I’m 31 and have been experiencing symptoms since I was 16, so it’s no surprise that the endo is pretty extensive. My doctor found it on my uterus, colon, vagina, etc. Unfortunately the endo was too inflamed to be removed, so I will have to have another surgery. My doctor wants me to complete hormone suppression therapy for a few months, and after that will go back in to excise it.

If anyone has experience with hormone suppression therapy, I would love to hear about your experience or advice! I wasn’t able to speak to my doctor too much after surgery and won’t see him for another two weeks at my post-op appointment. Thank you! xx
