Babysitter just so he can sleep?
I want to know if I'm wrong here. Two weeks ago I told my husband I had a doctors appointment to which I can't bring our two years old to, and asked of he would work or if he could take him. He said he had work and that there was no way he could get off and take him. So I called his aunt who lives close and is amazing and she was delighted to watch our son. So I wake up today, the day of the appointment, and find my husband still sleeping. I wake him up and tell him he's late for work and he says he doesn't have work today and I say "your aunt is already on her way here to watch our son. If you had told me you would be home she wouldn't have gone up early just to get him" and I was a bit annoyed. And he says "I need to sleep so it's still needed". My doctors appointment takes two hours. He can't lose two hours of sleep to watch our son? He works 14h shifts so I get that he's tired, but I still think it's embarrassing that someone has to come over to watch our son when he's home and capable to. Am I wrong? Is it okay to have someone watch your toddler so that you can sleep? I feel like this wasn't was she signed up for so I feel so guilty.
