Soo my MIL thinks she is staying with us a week BEFORE the baby comes and a week after she arrives. We are first time parents and she wants to help as much as possible. While I appreciate the offer, I think before is unnecessary and maybe a few days after would be enough. My SO wants her there 24/7 for 2 full weeks. I would legit go insane considering she has never made attempts to get to know me until I was pregnant. So its basically like a stranger in the house to me. ANYWAYS, I came up with some idk I guess "rules" to follow with the baby and idk if that makes me crazy or not. My SO says I'm batshit crazy and cant tell his mom want to do with the baby 😑

1. Must wash hands before touching baby

2. No kissing baby

3. Must be UTD on whooping cough vaccine

4. If i can do it myself, let me be. No hovering
