Not easy....
Hi my name is Liz and I have been TTC since July 2017. I thought it would be easy, one and done! At the time I was 30, about to get married to a man I had dated for 8 years.
I had been on BC since I was 16, so I was happy to get off. But that's when the trouble started. I would go months without getting my period. 90 + days! It was so upsetting each month when it didn't come. It ment one less month of TTC. In January of 2018 I went to my obgyn. He said I needed to lose weight (I am 5'4" and 185lb at the time) and suggested I go on Metformin 500MG 2 times a day. It would help regulate my cycle and clear up my acne.
Boy those first 3 months were a BITCH! I would get deep painful pimples and feel nauseous. I went from 90 days without a period to 60. I went back to the dr and agreed to up it to 3 pills a day.
I began to walk 30mins day...and the weight started to come off. As the weight came off, the pounds started to come off too!
It has been a road....I'm ready for my turn to be a mom. I get bedside myself when my friends tell me they are expecting. It gets worse when they haven't been TTC that long.
I know my turn will come.
So when you feel like giving up or you feel that you are the only one, remember I'm here with you too. I'm reminding myself that it's just not my turn.
