Do you think its wrong to spray dogs with water for unnecessary barking?

When I say unnecessary I mean barking at the neighbors, wind, a leaf.. ect.
I'm 21 weeks pregnant and have three dogs. They're very loud when they bark and bark even after being told not to. 
I'm just worried that once I have my baby and if he's sleeping they may wake him up by barking. 
I used a spray bottle for a while and it worked well. After a few days all I had to do was pick it up and get their attention. 
Also I do not spray my dogs in the face. Butt and body only lol

I think its wrong to do that ,
 I know its " just water " 
I mean they're dogs , I know in their nature They bark at the most smallest weirdest things & girl In my apartment complex we got a dog park right out sidr of us and we hear dogs barking all the time , I think going outside And seeing them spray their dog to shut up I think would be wrong - I mean theyre dogs lol . thats like me having to spray my kids with water Just to shut them up so my baby can sleep or not get woke up , but than again some dogs do like gettinf sprayed on the face just cause they like it and its fun lol

I think it's fine. Not in their eyes or up their nose though.Just make sure to say a correction with it. Eventually you stop spraying and just correct.

They’ll be fine. I do the same thing my dogs bark for nothing and then it ends up with them fighting with each other. I’d rather spray them with water than to spank them so water it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah as long as it’s not in the face and just with a low-pressure spray bottle, it’s no biggie at all!! It’s a mild and harness deterrent imo. As another poster mentioned, cue your “no” at the same time so hopefully you can remove the spray eventually.

We had to do this with my cat with a spritz bottle when he was scratching our couches. He learned to stop lol he did not enjoy it but he still loves us. It only took about 2 months of consistency to stop him.

My dog doesn’t like paper. So if he’s barking and needs to be quiet, I’ll pick up a piece of paper and roll it up and he knows to go lay down in his bed and be quiet. He doesn’t get hit with it on his booty unless he just continues to bark.

My dog enjoys it. Even being sprayed in the face he loves it. It’s not wrong and if it works it works.
