Anal prep/tips?

My boyfriend really wants to do anal & I’ve done it before but it’s always hurt & I’ve never been comfortable with it. Now I want to try it but I’m nervous/scared. Any tips to make it not hurt & to prep for it?

Try the spoon position. He can’t go as deep as fast by accident especially if your nervous . Practice breathing to relax . I find if my bf holds still (like for doggy style position) and I do the backing up/guiding him in and the first bit of moving it’s easier to relax . He’s totally patient with me and doesn’t move until I tell him it’s okay.

Try ky gel, that’s what I did cause it always hurt for me and after a few times with the ky gel it felt like I’d gotten used to it and then we tried it without the lube and it didn’t hurt anymore besides when it goes in it can be uncomfortable but not painful. But it’s different for everyone but that’s what I would do 👍🏻
