So I had my cervix checked for the first time today at 38+4. I’m 2cm and 50% effaced and the cervix check didn’t hurt at all.

When my midwife pulled her finger out she noticed some “pink” but said it was normal. However, every time I’ve gone to the bathroom I’ve noticed bleeding to the point where it was in the toilet (not just spotting IMO). I put a panty liner on and it never filled up, just like a small amount on the liner. It started to stop and brown up this afternoon but I just went to the bathroom again and there was more blood in the toilet.

Is this normal? My check was like 7 hours ago.
