Am I the only one forced to wait?

39 weeks exactly. Feeling really miserable m, moody and honestly quit fucking pissed. This is my second pregnancy and with my daughter I was at a different hospital (also I had her at 38 weeks) and I found out today, where I’m currently going won’t induce me until I’m 41 weeks! I literally want to throw myself down a flight of steps to get this baby out! I’m legit starting to resent this baby. I don’t understand why my due date isn’t enough time, why is another week necessary. 
People keep saying “maybe you’ll go into labor on your own” yes? When? From last week to this week no change in my fingertip dilation. I have tried EVERYTHING.( except castor oil) I’m just really fucking pissed about this news and I don’t know how to handle it 😞

I mean, I’d be ecstatic to not have health issues causing me to need an induction. I’d much rather have him cooking as long as he needs. I understand your frustration, but try to be thankful that you’re having a healthy pregnancy to where you’re able to keep baby in and not put either of your lives at risk 😊

41 weeks is normal, and it’s best to let baby cook as long as they need unless there is an issue. Yeah, it sucks, but pregnancy isn’t just a set 40 weeks you’re done. Many many many go past 40 weeks, which is why 39-42 weeks is very normal for babies to come during.

We are here with you mama. Sometimes when customers at work say “you’re still here!?” I almost start crying. But we are almost at the end. Waiting is the worst!!! Hang in there. 💝💝 
I know it seems like everyone is loosing their plugs early and having their babies early, but its just because the other 95% of us are too miserable to post  about how tired of being pregnant we are, Because we know how grateful we are to be pregnant and don’t want others to judge. Lol.

Get over it lol induction before baby is ready really Isn’t good and the longer baby cooks the better to be honest you’re being very selfish yeah it’s uncomfortable but your body isn’t ready for labor

I feel ya, the wait sucks. We just want to meet our little one. However, inducing too soon increases the risk of complications and the need for csection. I’d just keep myself busy and tell myself it’s the best for me and baby!

I’m 39 weeks, due on Saturday and am showing no signs of labor 😩 I won’t be induced until 41 weeks and 3 days either. I’m so sick of waiting right now. I feel your pain.

My god they won’t induce till 41 weeks??? Lol NO THANKS. My hospital can start to induce by 39 weeks or sooner if needed

Same boat.  I’m due Sunday and it feels like the end is not near at all.  All those induction methods won’t work unfortunately if your body and babe aren’t ready yet.  Go take some extra naps and pamper yourself, it’ll distract you from the waiting.

I won’t be induced until 10 days past my due date. 
With my son I went into labour naturally at 8 days over and the day before I wasn’t even a cm dilated! It can happen any time! 
I have to wait too it’s getting tough haha

I understand it is hard. So I understand your feelings. And I wish I could help you feel better.... hopefully baby will come before then on it’s own. 
My first I was scheduled for an induction at 41 weeks and I went into labor the night before. This time I will be induced on Sunday if I don’t go into labor before then because I’ll be 39 weeks that day and I’m 41 so they recommend not going last 39 weeks. I’m grateful,  but I have to say my 41 week baby was 8 pounds 8 ounces and freaking gorgeous!!! I’m probably biased but the longer they cook usually the better for health and the cute factor. 🙌🙃
