My mother texted my husband today asking him for money and that she is desperate ect that she’s lived on $200 the past 2 weeks..

literally 3 weeks ago she asked me for $300 and so I asked my husband if we could help her and he of course was like “you don’t have to ask.. go ahead” and so I gave it to her and she said she would pay us back in a few weeks.. we’ll now today she texted him and didn’t text me.. trying to keep me out of the loop cause I know her pattern.. she’s has like a bunch of those payday loans and she’s not even paying them! She’s getting sued by one of the places and has to go to court now! I don’t know if we should help her or not...

we have money in our account but my husband has just recently lost his job of 17 years and we are about to move and try to start our own business.. so he’s out of work and we still have bills that match what his old 10k a month pay ... and he now has to pay $1500 for a lawyer for child support cause his ex is taking him to court cause he quit his job and won’t be making as much and she’s pissed. And my mother knows all of this and still has the nerve to ask him.

I don’t know how to tell my mom no.. but I know her and we will never get it back and we just don’t have all this cash to blow even tho we have some in our account we are trying to save for our own problems..

What should I tell her???
