When did your period return ?

I am breastfeeding and am 5 weeks post partum today and my period has returned already ?! 
Is this normal and is it actually my period ? I’m actually annoyed because I thought it would be months at least seeing as though I’m breastfeeding but it is so soon !!

Before 8 weeks its still considered lochia. I bled on and off for 6 weeks. Didn't actually get my period until 8 months pp.
