Fertility clinics? Any good ones?

M

I went to Penn fertility today. I definitely don’t recommend them. They might be good doctors but they run the appointments like sales appointments actually dirty sales appointments. We’d be paying out of pocket for everything and they refused to give us any range or estimate of how much iui and ivf cost there. They wanted us to spend a ton on preliminary testing before they would even consider giving me estimate of costs of iui and ivf. Ultimately we paid 350 for nothing. After trying to get them to give us any kind of estimate

And then saying it was Penn’s policy that they were not allowed to do that we walked out. Even the woman

Refusing to tell us said if it were her she would be demanding the same info. She also said she did know approximate costs but because she worked at Penn she was not permitted to tell us at that point. We will definitely not be working w them! Also we had an appointment originally tuesday at 3. We waited 2 hours after

Our appointment time and they were still not

Ready to meet w us. The nurse that works there said this happens every day. We had to

Reschedule for another day and my husband had to take a day off from

Work to finally be seen.

Has anyone had a more

Positive experience working w any fertility clinics in the Philadelphia area? In particular were looking for a clinic that’s more

Of an open book (We want more of a doc experience, less sales person) and better picture of expense before starting anything. We also don’t want sugar coated stats.
