Should I pierce my 1 year old daughters ears? Or is it too late

You could just not do it at all? Why not wait for her to ask for it? It's so strange to me that parents think babies and toddlers need earrings. There's absolutely no reason for it. My almost 2-year-old doesn't have her ears pierced and won't be getting them until she's older and can/does ask for them.

Let her make that choice for herself. Bodily autonomy is so important!! It's not your body, it's hers. And she should be able to decide what if any body modifications she would like to make.

I wouldn't do it now for the simple fact that she might pull on them as far as all the other comments telling you not to do it until she asked at the end of the day that's your daughter

My mom always told me my dad demanded to have mines pierced because he wanted to but diamonds in his baby Girl ear  I have two in each side everybody different Its-your child do what you want  but I know for sure I’m not giving my child a choice ion know what generation everybody was grown up in but ADULTS MAKE THE CHOICE NOT THE KIDS

We did our daughter’s wen she was 9months n it was a bit harder bc she was stronger n more aware of wat was going on. With my next little girl we will do it sooner. Since my daughter got her ears done she hasn’t messed with them n they have never been infected n she is 2yrs old now
