I feel like most people are saying no just because of some horror stories they've seen. There's stories about anything. How can you say no if you never had any experiences of it yourself? Personally for me i loved it. It worked so well and I never had to worry.

For me, we had infertility issues after it was removed. I know the IUD might not be the cause...but I would have used a different birth control method if I'd known my second baby would take almost 6 years to conceive after the IUD came out...

I had no negative effects from it. My once excruciatingly painful and heavy periods went away after half a year of being on it, had no accidental pregnancies, and got pregnant within a couple of months of getting off of it. So I say yes to it. But make sure to read possible side effects and deciding if that's okay for you or not. They're rare, but they can happen

I gained a lot of weight on it. Felt my mental state wasn't as clear as it was prior to being on it. After getting it out (day after Christmas) it took until end of May to get my period back.  I had to take provera to actually get my period back. 
A friend of mine and my cousin also gained weight on it. My cousin had it after her first child and after getting it taken it out she had UTI after UTI.  
It's a great form of birth control.  Just wasn't right for me. My cousin still got it put back in after having her second child.

I love mine. Never had any side effects, made my periods so much shorter/lighter/more regular. I had no fertility issues after removing it. I’m a forgetful person and don’t trust myself to remember a pill at the exact same time every day, so the iud was right for me. It’s not right for everyone, but it was for me

My IUD Migrated up into my uterus and jammed into my uterine wall after almost 2 years. I had to get it surgically removed and it was so friggin painful. Forgetttttt that! I tried everything after that. I always forget the pill, hate the Nuva ring, had mood swings and gained weight on the depo shot - then I found the implant on! Love it. Had it in for 2 years, no side effects. Then decided I wanted a baby and got it removed. Easy peasy. Got pregnant month one. Got it back in after and a year later wanted to get pregnant again, so got it out again and got pregnant month 1 again!!!
