Rant:

Helllo, everyone. I’m a new mom. I am due in 9 weeks. I am getting the whooping cough shot on Monday. My fiancé has to get the shot as well..

I told my family I’m getting it. I told them that I don’t want my kid getting sick.. and he cannot get it until 2 months.

They reply, “well, it looks like we wont be able to hold him.” Sooo I said, “hm. Looks like it will be that way then.”

My sister is against shots. 2/4 kids have vaccines. She stopped with the last two because of “research.” She highly believes it will cause autism... and it pisses me off to no end.

My dad wasn’t opposed to it.. that I can recall. But he didn’t say if he was getting it or not. My other sister & my mother refuse to. My mom likes to be the type of.. everything is about her.. & if you say something she doesn’t like.. she will get an attitude and say “okay whatever.” And just mind her own business.. and be pissy at you.

I want my kid to meet them. I want them to meet my kid.. but everyone refuses to get a fucking shot. As if it will kill them..

Why is this so hard??!

I will need help! My fiancé is being deployed shortly after our son is born..

I’m just so stressed..
