Low HCG? Can’t find baby?

Question

Went to the ER tonight due to terrible stomach pains. My HCG was 128 which they told me was normal and that’s I’m 3 weeks instead of 4 1/2 like I thought. Would I be able to see the baby? Should my HCG be higher? I go to my OB Friday to do another HCG to see if it goes up or down. Any thought ladies?

Don’t trust the Er with diagnostics about your pregnancy.  They’re trained to save lives, not handle prenatal care.  Make an appointment with your OB and talk to them instead.

It takes a hcg level of 2,000 to see anything on the screen. And as long as it’s doubling then that’s good

You won’t see baby that early. I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks and only saw gestational sac. As long as your levels double you should be okay! And you still could be 4 weeks with those levels

I went in to the ER when I was 4 weeks and they seen nothing but a gestational sac, no heart beat. Here I am 31 weeks with a healthy baby, you're most likely fine.
