I dont mean to rant but I cant talk to anyone else about this.

I am set to have this baby in two days and I cant for the life of me get my husband to participate in home life. He leaves a mess wherever he goes, leaves bags from traveling for MONTHS at the front door, walks past a full garbage can with no worry in the world, no help with kids homework, etc. I swear he doesnt see any of the mess him or my other kids make. I am so nervous to have three kids (basically 4) without his help. He works and I dont right now due to pelvis/hip issues and soon because of the baby, but I still feel like that doesnt give him a free pass to not participate in his life outside of work. I dont get it. I literally cant understand it. Today I lost my cool and I said "I WILL NOT COOK DINNER UNTIL SOMEONE HELPS ME WITH THIS KITCHEN!!" Because of all the garbage him and my kids left in there today. I try talking to him but he WILL NOT communicate. He completely shuts down.

So tired of feeling alone.
