Hi!

I’m in UK, and I’m booked in for a planned c-section on 18th March. I had an emergency c-section with my first baby.

I’m actually beyond nervous this time round. More than I expected to be. I think it’s because, last time I was in so much pain with contractions and so exhausted with pushing that I didn’t really care what they did to me but this time round, I’m gonna be so aware of everything.

I’m particularly nervous about the anaesthetic. I’m such a wimp when it comes to needles etc. and am really dreading it.

Does anyone know if they’ll let me lie down while I’m getting the anaesthetic? I think I’ll cope with it better if I’m lying down, and I’m less likely to pass out 🙈
