I say normal... the people saying not normal I bet would say a 20 year old and 24 year old was normal which it is technically the same thing... 17 can be a bit more immature then 21 but so what? I was in college at 17 going to school with people 21 not much difference.

When I met my husband I was 17 he was 21. 
I was still in high school and had gone to a college party so he thought I was older. At first he didn’t want to put a label on us because he felt weird I wasn’t 18 (and my dad is a cop lol) but I made him take prom pictures with me 😅 
We’ve now been together almost 8 years - married 2 1/2

It’s 16-24 in my state. When I was 17 I dated a 24 year old. It didn’t last long, he was super weird. He ended up dating only girls much younger than him. He’s 31 now and is with a 19 year old. He has issues for sure.
