Hcg left 6weeks after mc?!

Question

Anyone still had positive pregnancy tests/hcg leftover 6 weeks after mc and after they had another period?!
I had a light 3 day period exactly 4 weeks after my mc. 
I should be 6dpo today on that next cycle but got a bfp this morning?!?!
Surely can’t be a new pregnancy that early after ovulation but how can I have had a period and ovulated with hcg left?! 
Anyone had this xx

I miscarried on 1/18 and still have slight levels of HCG left in my system and am still getting VFL on pregnancy tests. I also started to have light bleeding around 4 weeks after my miscarriage and my OB explained to me that it was not a “true period” but it’s your uterus shedding it’s lining which is a good sign and means you’re getting close to having 0 HCG.

Yes, it took me 7 weeks to get rid of all of the hcg in my system.

It could be but did u test to be sure u had a negitive? Just cos if u tested negitive this will be a new pregnancy
