Does this app work for contract dates of ovulation?

Hi I’m new to this app had this app worked for other people with the correct dates it says for ovulation?

Not really. It’s just a guess. It’s hit and miss. If you fill out the log everyday and take OPK and temperature and log them as well it’s usually close or right on but not just by logging in your period

It does for some but it’s an algorithm based off the information you put in when you signed up. The best way to actually tell is to buy bulk ovulation tests on amazon. Start testing the day after your period ends 2x per day. Once you get a positive OPK(ovulation test) you will ovulate sometime between 12-48 hours so it’s best to have sex the day you get a positive, and 2 days after. 
You can also track with body temp (bbt) you buy a thermometer and take your temp at the same time right after waking up everyday. Your temperature usually spikes the day after ovulation and will stay up for at least 4 days. These two things together tracked in the app will update the algorithm to give you a better chance and more accurate predictor but sometimes it can still be off by a day or two as our cycles can change based on our day to day life.
