What do you consider “Making love”

Question

Having a debate with my man about love making. 
He thinks hitting it from the back or side is love making. 
I think forward facing positions are a bit more loving. 
What do you think?

Needs more options. "Sex with someone you love" isnt quite it because i love my husband but I wouldn't call us havibg rough sex "love making."  And "passionate sex" can happen without loving someone so also not "making love".
I agree though.. Face to face contact or kissing, slower movements. Thats love making. Just call it fuckiing if hes behind me lol

To me, love making is emotionally connecting through physical intimacy. Expressing how you love them through an emotional & physical connection. Nothing to do with positions or sex in its physical sense or ensuring one and/or the other “get off”. Rather, that vulnerability being exposed only to your partner and knowing and feeling like you’re only connected to them in that moment on a level unlike any other. Zero idea if that mAkes any sense.

i think coming in from behind can be love making also, especially when he’s leaning over so that our faces are close together or we’re making out in that position. and rough sex i still consider making love because i love him so much that however wild or rough our sex is, there’s so much love in it and from i, if that makes sense. our sex is intimate and meaningful whether it’s gentle and romantic or sloppy and rough, it all comes down to how much we love each other and why we’re having the sex that we are (we are making love). if it’s a hookup buddy, we can do the same kinds of things but it wouldn’t be making love. the difference for me, is in the feelings that go with the sex that makes it love making, not how gentle or rough or what kind of positions
