Any gardeners out there?

Question

Any of you SAHMs have gardens? I live in northern California and I'm so excited to get out and start this year's garden! I did seed starts under lights and all of the lettuces are ready to go out but we still have frost through mid March :/

If you look up your USDA Hardiness Zone it will tell you what plants and when it’s best to start planting your seedlings for your area. It’s like the modern day farmer’s almanac. I’m in middle Tennessee.

I have a small herb garden (rosemary, sage and mint) but 16 or 17 house plants. I’m from Phoenix but trying to get used to SoCal gardening. I have hollyhocks and morning glories I’m going to plant soon!!! So excited

We started a vegetable garden last year. Cucumbers, green beans, tomatoes and zucchini.

I have one. It's something my 4yr son and I like to do together. We are waiting alittle longer to start sprouting seeds we live in central Cali and are still get snow and freezing

I've done everything from herbs to beans. Not successful with snap peas or green beans, somewhat with peppers. Kale did very well and I cant keep squirrels off my strawberries. 
Rosemary and green onions are the easier thing to grow, and basil needs the most attention.  Tomatoes are easy to grow too but you need space and something for them to climb. Good luck!
