No, it looks fine! That being said, if you’re feeling like it’s changed in sensitivity now a whole week later, and it’s suddenly uncomfortable, definitely keep an eye on it. It LOOKS fine right now and I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be at this point in healing, but you’re asking which makes me wonder if you’re FEELING something we can’t see.

So, the coloring around the stitch is most likely from the dye that makes the stitch purple. Hopefully it doesn’t get infected but, idk why the hell they used that kind of suture.
