Movies lie!

Lele

I'm a university(college) first year student and 19.

Here is my labour story😂

It started on the day I went to the clinic for my check up, I was 35 weeks, all vitals and signs were good for both me and my baby(my first and only baby) the doctor told me before I left." I'll book you in for the 14th of February next week but from next week onwards the baby can come so just watch for the signs." Little did I know I would soon ignore the sign🙃

So I'm sleeping with my sister in my bed (baby daddy is in the picture but we're not together anymore just really good friends) mind you I have to jump over her to get out of bed and pee and I complained about that the night before. I feel pee(or so I thought) leak out at around 3 in the morning. Me waking up in my daze gets angry at my sister because I predicted that one night I would pee my pants because i have to crawl over her ass to go pee. I was pissed.

I go pee and realise that I have a strong bladder even through my pregnancy and this "pee" just slipped right out👀 anyway in the back of my I know something is not right but I tell myself it's nothing. MISTAKE NUMBER 1!

So now I tell my sister in the morning and mind you I put a pad on the whole night because it continued to flow obviously😂 anyway we get ready and go on campus then remember that we should call and tell our mum the situation. So we're in the bathroom I tell mum the situation( because I basically finished one packet of pads on this clear jelliesh fluid) so my mum goes "Oh no. You need to go to the hospital"

So I'm as calm as can be I'm taking it all in well and my sister is like

So we rush ourselves to hospital. Turns out I ruptured the membrane( I think that's it) and I'm currently 1cm diluted( I suck at this pregnancy/labour terminology🙃) this is where my sister truly freaks out

Now I have to calm her down then she said I should freak out then she can focus on calming me down so she won't have the chance to freak it... I'm like

So after my water broke at 11am and not feeling any contractions and being stuck on 2cm for 24 bloody hours! The doctor decided to induce me. Boy did those contractions come🙃

Due to the pain medicine they put me on my body felt like the gif above... but my mind was like

And I kid you not that's probably how I looked😂😂😂 fast forward to peak contractions. I'm talking like 2 minutes apart. I couldn't tell I was high and in pain, at the same damn time I was so parched I was out there screaming for water

The nurse was going crazy telling me to breath through the pain. A girl was fed up! I looked at her dead in the eyes, mid contraction, and told her. "I need to poo and I'm going to do it now"

Poor girl shouts for the doctor at this point I am not giving a damn I am fed up and telling my baby, you've put me through the most and I'm kicking you out

I start poo and the nurse freaks out more and tells me to wait

I did not give a damn about what she's telling me! At this point the doctor is in the room and tells me when I feel a contraction I must push... did a girl not feel that after every two or three breaths

After 10 hours of active labour and 15 minutes of delivery my little girl was born😊 Linamandla Ruth Resima Nomkuca✨

Healthy as a horse and now we're at three weeks both parents and families couldn't be happier the first niece, grandchild and great grandchild and she truly is an angel💝
