If an ovulation test is slightly pink but not positive about 7 or 8 days after a predicted ovulation, what does this mean? Especially since it’s after predicted ovulation date!

No. There will always be two lines on an ovulation test because your body is always making some LH (the hormone it’s testing for). You get a positive result (which means you will be ovulating within 12-36 hours) when the test like is AS DARK or DARKER than the control line. Anything lighter is negative
